About Te Whenua Ora o Taranaki

A Māori land and wellbeing Trust caring for the whenua, the awa and the people of Taranaki - guided by mātauranga Māori.

Who we are

A Trust grounded in whakapapa

Te Whenua Ora o Taranaki is a community Trust working at the meeting place of mātauranga Māori and regenerative practice. We walk alongside whānau, hapū and landholders across the region.

Our mahi is led by kaitiakitanga - the responsibility to care for the whenua so that it can continue to care for the people upon it.
